Fire In The Sky

I was completely awestruck by the sky as I left work this afternoon. It seemed as if part of the horizon was on fire, creating a huge, billowy smoke cloud. Only this 'smoke' was orange, pink, and violet. Amazing. I'm lucky I didn't swerve while driving. Gorgeous.

The record of "earliest played Christmas music by a retail store" may have been broken today. That's right, October 24, and I was in a clothing store today that was playing a new Christmas cd. At this rate, we'll be lucky if people aren't racing out to buy their Valentine's Day supplies before Thanksgiving.

Also of note: Beings that 41 is my favorite number, I'm happy/scared/excited/nervous to report that my company's office moves to the city in 41 days.
